Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by G-Site Studio ("we," "us," or "our") related to the design, development, and delivery of websites built exclusively on the Google Sites platform. By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

G-Site Studio provides custom web design and development services using Google Sites. Our services are generally delivered as fixed-scope packages (e.g., G-Site Core, Professional, Premium), which include a set number of pages, revisions, and a defined delivery timeline.

2. Client Responsibilities

The timely delivery of the project relies heavily on the Client's cooperation. You agree to:

• Provide Content: Deliver all necessary text, images, logos, and finalised branding elements before the project start date. Delays in content submission will directly impact the delivery timeline.

• Approval and Revisions: Provide timely feedback during the designated revision period (as defined in your chosen package). Any requested changes outside of the agreed-upon revision rounds or scope may be subject to additional fees.

• Accuracy: Ensure that all provided content, including contact information and legal disclosures, is accurate, legal, and non-infringing.

3. Payment and Fees

A. Pricing

All package prices are quoted in Great British Pounds £ and are fixed for the scope defined in the corresponding service package.

B. Payment Terms

Full Upfront Payment: Various payment methods are offered at checkout.

C. Refunds

Due to the custom nature of web development, all fees paid are generally non-refundable once work has commenced. If a project is cancelled by the Client after the deposit or full payment has been received, the amount will be retained by G-Site Studio to cover the design and development time expended up to that point.

4. Ownership and Licensing

A. Client Ownership

Upon final payment, the Client owns all rights to the final website design (look and feel) and all project content (text, images, logos) provided by the Client or created specifically for the Client under the contract.

B. Platform Ownership

The finished website is built on the Google Sites platform. The Client retains full administrative control of the Google Site and the underlying Google account, and is bound by Google's separate Terms of Service and policies regarding the platform.

C. Design Use

G-Site Studio retains the right to use the completed website in our portfolio and marketing materials.

5. Hosting and Maintenance

G-Site Studio is responsible only for the initial design and build.

Hosting: The website is hosted by Google at no charge to the Client. G-Site Studio is not responsible for any platform-related issues, outages, security breaches, or changes to Google Sites policies.

Maintenance: Once the site is launched and handed over, the Client is responsible for all subsequent content updates, maintenance, and technical issues. We may offer separate maintenance packages upon request.

6. Limitation of Liability

G-Site Studio shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses resulting from the use or inability to use the service.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
